A Study on the Enhancement of Disciplinary Literacy of Geographic Science Teacher Trainees in Local Colleges and Universities in the Context of Teacher Education Program Accreditation
The cultivation of academic literacy is the basic basis for deepening education reform and implementing the fundamental goal of cultivating moral character As the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China(MOE)has launched a three-tiered teacher education program accreditation in higher education institutions nationwide,the quality of teacher educators'training,especially the knowledge,competence,and literacy in the subject matter,has become increasingly important in the accreditation process Based on the background of teacher training accreditation of the Ministry of Education,this study explores the internal logic between teacher training accreditation and the enhancement of geography disciplinary literacy,and analyzes the problems in disciplinary literacy cultivation of geography teacher trainees in the process of talent cultivation,and puts forward countermeasures for the enhancement of teacher trainees'disciplinary literacy in response to the existing problems
