A Practical Study on Flipped Classroom in the Teaching of an Introduction to Britain and America
An Outline Introduction to Britain and Americais an optional course for English majors,aiming at improving English ma-jors'understanding of the diversity of different countries cultures,cultivating global awareness and cross-cultural communication skills.However,the traditional teaching model of teacher-centered classroom has not been effective.In the context of flipped classroom,this article explores the practical strategies of flipped classroom in the teaching of An Outline Introduction to Britain and Americabased on constructivist theory,in order to stimulate students'enthusiasm for learning,motivation,and learning participation,improve the quality and effectiveness of the classroom,and provide valuable reference and guidance for the teaching of English majors in other universities.
