Geological genesis and mineralizing process of co-existed and associated minerals in coal series
At present,research on the geological genesis and mineralizing process of co-existed and as-sociated minerals in coal series is mostly scattered,targeting a single mineral,and systematic research is still lacking.This article systematically summarizes and discusses the favorable conditions,geological genesis,and mineralizing processes of co-existed and associated minerals in coal series.According to the main mineralizing process,the geological genesis of co-existed and associated minerals in coal series can be divided into three categories:metamorphic mineralization,sedimentary mineralization,and epigenetic mineralization.Taking the formation and evolution of coal accumulation basins as the main line,alumi-num and iron were the first to deposit and mineralize in the basement of the basin in the early stage of coal series formation.Subsequently,sedimentary deposits such as coal series oil shale and kaolin were mostly deposited and mineralized alternately with coal seams due to changes in coal-forming environment.Metal elements such as gallium and germanium were mostly carried and enriched in coal-forming swamps by ore-bearing fluids.Coal-formed gas,tar-rich coal,and coal-based graphite were metamorphic and differentiated products of coal-bearing organic matter under various conditions.In the later stage of coal series evolution,sandstone type uranium deposits and various rare metal elements were formed in the coal series.The main controlling factors for the mineralization of co-existed and associated minerals in coal series mainly include appropriate geological tectonic activities,sufficient material sources,humid and warm paleogeographic climate,and abundant organic matter within the coal series.Influenced by these factors,there are significant differences in the mineralization characteristics of coal series mineral resources in different coal accumulation periods.
