Connotation, components and challenges of full cost of coordinated mining of coal and its co-existed and associated minerals
Coordinated mining of coal and its co-existed and associated minerals is a major national strategy for China. The implementation of full cost of mining is conducive to the rational development and utilization of mineral resources and promotes the safe,high-quality production and sustainable deve-lopment of mineral enterprises.Currently, the main research objects of full cost related research are coal mines, and the research on other mineral mining is relatively small;there are more studies on the full cost of single mineral mining, but less on the full cost of coordinated mining of multiple minerals.Coor-dinated mining of coal and its co-existed and associated minerals lacks theoretical guidance in terms of full cost.Through comparative analysis of the full cost composition for independent mining of each mi-neral product and the characteristics of coordinated mining, the concept of coordinated mining operating cost was proposed. The analysis concluded that the full cost of coordinated mining consists of the tradi-tional five types of costs and the operating costs of coordinated mining, that is,the full cost of coordina-ted mining not only includes the full cost of independent mining of various minerals, but also takes into account costs incurred for the establishment and maintenance of the coordinated mining system as well as measures taken to cope with the effects of coordinated mining on the outside world. The full cost of coor-dinated mining includes not only the full cost of mining each mineral independently, but also the cost of establishing and maintaining the coordinated mining system and taking countermeasures against external effects of coordinated mining.Through specific case studies of coordinated mining of bauxite, uranium and coalbed methane associated with the coal system, the causes and components of coordinated mining operation costs in different cases are obtained, and it is pointed out that the interaction of different mine-ral mining activities within the system is the key factor leading to the generation of coordinated mining operation costs.Based on the progress of relevant technologies for coordinated mining, the challenges faced by the full cost of coordinated mining in cost quantification, key theory and technology of coordi-nated mining, difficulty of implementation, and interdisciplinary talent requirements are analyzed.
