How do Talent Environment Factors Drive the Agglomeration of Urban Innovative Talents?——Qualitative Comparative Analysis Based on Configuration Perspective
Innovative talents are the fundamental driving force and guarantee for promoting high-quality economic de-velopment,and are the key to enhancing the core competitiveness of cities,enhancing their comprehensive strength,and ac-celerating their development.Based on the innovative talents in 32 cities of the country as a sample,from the perspective of talent environment,the QCA method is used to explore the multiple concurrent factors and complex causal mechanisms that affect the agglomeration of urban innovative talents.The results show that:①The five specific conditions of the innovation,e-conomy,life,ecology,and social environment covered by the talent environment cannot constitute the necessary conditions for the agglomeration of urban innovative talents;②There are five driving paths for the high agglomeration of innovative tal-ents in cities,namely,the life environment driven path under economic leadership,the social environment driven path under economic leadership,the innovation-life-ecology driven path under economic leadership,the innovation-ecology-social driven type under economic leadership,the life-social driven type under economic leadership;③There are three driving paths to agglomeration the non efficiency of urban innovative talents,namely ecological social environment inhibition,innova-tion life environment inhibition,and innovation economic environment inhibition;④A good economic environment has a rel-atively common impact on the agglomeration of the high efficiency of urban innovative talents,that is,the five driving paths for agglomeration of the high efficiency of innovative talents all exhibit a highly interdependent feature between the economic environment and the agglomeration of innovative talents;⑤It is not the higher the better the various elements of the talent environment that lead to the agglomeration of the high efficiency of urban innovative talents.Instead,they need to be com-bined with appropriate configurations in order to truly play the synergistic field effect of various elements.
