On the main challenges and practical paths of promoting scientific and technological modernization in the new era
The modernization of science and technology is the key to the modernization of the Chinese style,and is an important content,strategic support,and driving force for building a great modern socialist country in an all-round way.The modernization of science and technology is not only a goal concept,but also a process concept,which is a process of continu-ous development and progress of various aspects and elements in various fields of science and technology system.Since the 18th National Congress of the CPC,China has made great progress in the modernization of science and technology,but the level of modernization still lags behind that of developed countries.We still face major challenges such as a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation,international competition in science and technology,and insufficient capacity for systematic innovation.To further advance the modernization of science and technology,we must,un-der the leadership of the Communist Party of China,adhere to the path of independent innovation with Chinese characteris-tics,continue to optimize innovation governance,deepen institutional reform,strengthen the development of human resources,optimize regional layout,and cultivate the culture of innovation.We will promote the modernization of science and technology development strategies,systems and mechanisms,human resources,regional science and technology,and innova-tion ecology.
