The Historical Experience And The Direction Of The Times In The Leadership Of The Communist Party Of China In The Modernization Of Science And Technology
As the key to Chinese-style modernization,modernization of science and technology has always been an im-portant mission of our party and has been placed in an important position in the overall situation of modernization of the state.Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China,China's scientific and technological modernization has gone through four stages:the initial stage of the new democratic revolution,the initial exploration period after the founding of the People's Republic of China,the in-depth development period of reform and opening,and the historical leap period of the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Over the past 100 years,China's modernization of science and technology has always gone in the same direction as the modernization of the state,and has accumulated basic experience in adhering to the combination of party leadership and people supremacy,the combination of service development and maintaining security,the combination of education and scientific together with technological talents,the combination of strategic guidance and in-stitutional reform,and the combination of self-reliance,self-improvement and open cooperation.Standing on the new histor-ical position,we must adhere to the"Four Orientation"strategy,focus on key core technologies,strengthen the national stra-tegic scientific and technological force,take advantage of a new system for moblizing resources nationwide,and start a new journey of scientific and technological modernization while drawing on historical wisdom.
