Top Managerial Cognition,Open Innovation and Digital Transformation of Enterprises——An Empirical Study Based on High-tech Enterprises
With the development of digital technology,digital transformation provides new opportunities for enterprises to innovate and establish competitive advantages.Digital transformation and the degree of transformation depend on the managerial cognition.Compared with the traditional closed innovation,open innovation provides managers with more diverse and broader information through cooperation with external organizations,which promotes managerial cognition to a certain extent.Through the empirical analysis of 104 high-tech listed companies from 2015 to 2021,this paper explores the impact of managerial cognition on the degree of digital transformation of enterprises,and the moderating effect of open innovation breadth on managerial cognition and digital transformation.The conclusion shows that managers with high cognitive flexibil-ity and cognitive complexity promote enterprises to carry out deeper digital transformation.Open innovation breadth of enter-prises significantly promotes the positive impact of cognitive flexibility and cognitive complexity on the degree of digital transformation.According to the research conclusions,this paper puts forward relevant suggestions on how managers can better apply digital technology to provide decision-making and business support and ensure the smooth digital transformation of enterprises.
