Digital Economy,New Quality Productivity,and High Quality Agricultural Development
Selecting panel data from 274 prefecture level cities and above from 2015 to 2022,and based on various e-conometric models,this study empirically analyzes the relationship between the digital economy,new quality productivity,and high-quality agricultural development.The research results show that the digital economy can effectively empower the high-quality development of agriculture,and this conclusion still holds true after robustness testing.Heterogeneity analysis shows that the empowerment effect of the digital economy is more significant in large cities and developed cities.The results of the mediation effect test indicate that new quality productivity plays a mediating role between the digital economy and high-quality agricultural development.The threshold effect test results show that the role of the digital economy in the high-quality development of agriculture has nonlinear characteristics.Under the constraints of the digital economy,the marginal effect of this effect shows an inverted"U"shape,while under the constraints of new quality productivity,it shows an in-creasing marginal effect.Therefore,policy recommendations are proposed to create new advantages in the development of digital economy,promote diversified development of new quality productivity,and formulate differentiated digital economy development strategies,providing assistance for accelerating high-quality agricultural development.
