Flexible Human Resource Management in Platform-Based Organizations:Conceptualization and Scale Development
In the context of the digital economy,the trend of organizational platform transformation has posed new challenges to traditional flexible human resource management.However,existing research on flexible human resource management only focuses on traditional organizations,failing to capture the characteristics of management boundaries,units,and processes in the context of organizational platform transformation.Based on grounded theory,we selected the leaders of HRM department in platform-based organizations as research samples,explored the structural dimensions of flexible HRM in platform-based organizations,and further developed and tested measurement scales.The results of the study show that flexible HRM in platform organizations includes three dimensions of:structural flexible HRM,resource flexible HRM and process flexible HRM,with 13 items.Meanwhile,results of the factor analysis also showed that the scale had good reliability and validity.
