At present,the digital economy's tide is sweeping across sectors,profoundly altering every industry.No department or organization is immune to the impact of digital transformation,which has become an inevitable choice for the survival and development of most businesses.In academia,the significant practical implications of digital transformation have garnered considerable attention from scholars,gradually becoming a focal point of interest in the field of management studies.The development of theories related to digital transformation inevitably requires the support of quantitative empirical research.However,certain characteristics of the concept of digital transformation itself mean that the commonly used measurement methods often exhibit deficiencies and flaws in this area of research,failing to effectively measure the concept of digital transformation.The development of measurement methods for digital transformation has encountered difficulties,severely hindering the progress of quantitative research in the field of digital transformation.In light of this,to promote the advancement of research related to digital transformation,this paper focuses on the measurement of digital transformation as its core theme,reviews the commonly used measurement methods in research,explores the current challenges faced by digital transformation measurement,analyzes the inherent reasons for these challenges,and then suggests ways to overcome the difficulties in measuring digital transformation.
