The Impact of Digital Transformation on Firm Innovation Performance:Evidence from Listed Companies in China
With the rapid development of information technology,digital transformation in enterprises has become key to driving innovation and enhancing competitiveness.This study,based on a large dataset from Chinese listed companies spanning from 2007 to 2022,utilizes statistical methods such as ordinary least squares linear regression and mediation effect models to explore the relationship between corporate digitization and innovation performance.The aim is to reveal how enterprises can enhance their innovative capabilities through technological application and management innovation under a digital framework,providing theoretical guidance and decision-making references for the practice of digital transformation.The research finds that digital transformation significantly enhances both operational and market innovation performance in enterprises.This influence is not only direct but also indirectly promoted through multiple internal mechanisms such as management empowerment,investment empowerment,operational empowerment,and labor empowerment.These findings not only provide new perspectives for theoretical research but also offer robust strategic recommendations for the formulation of digital strategies in practice.
