Comparative Analysis of Chinese and International Digitalization Research Based on Bibliometrics
This research focuses on the issues of converging research topics and a lack of innovation in the current digitalization field.Using bibliometric and scientometric methods and the CiteSpace visualization tool,it conducts a systematic and in-depth analysis of digitalization research literature in SSCI and CSSCI databases from 2010 to 2024.The research employs multiple scientometric techniques,including keyword co-occurrence analysis,clustering analysis,co-citation analysis,and burst detection,to explore and compare the evolution of research hotspots and trends in digitalization both domestically and internationally.Through a comprehensive literature review and analysis,the research finds that digitalization research has shown a significant growth trend in both quantity and topics worldwide,especially since 2020,with a sharp increase in the number of related academic papers.Comparative analysis reveals certain differences between domestic and international research:domestic research focuses more on the application of digital technology in public management and social governance,while international research emphasizes technological innovation and its expansion in industry applications.Future research may focus on emerging technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence,suggesting these technologies will become emerging hotspots in digitalization research.This research reveals the latest research dynamics and development trends in the digitalization field,providing a unique perspective for understanding the interaction between technology and policy in the global digitalization process,with certain theoretical value and practical significance.
