The article explores the"chirality"characteristics between images and the material world,dis-cussing the primary forms of the"image without material"and interpreting the relationship between imag-es and matter from four perspectives.Firstly, with the development of media technology, images are gradu-ally liberated from physical entities and can be transmitted, transformed, replicated, and regenerated across different material media.Secondly, amorphous images are unstable, constantly changing, and detached from solid and visual forms.Thirdly, endogenous images are produced entirely through internal mental ac-tivities,becoming the driving force behind artists'creation of magnificent objective images.Lastly,non-temporal images possess a timelessness that allows them to escape the fate of art and enter a new"non-temporal"world through museums. The article argues that only by rethinking the deep connection between digital images and humans can we begin to address the political and ethical issues that technology may bring in the future.
