Is Value Alignment"the Only Road"to Future for Humanity?
The exploration of the baseline for the human-machine(technology)alliance as one of the goals of technological development is an unavoidable issue in contemporary philosophy of technology.At present,the blurring of boundaries between technology and humans caused by the humanization and agency of artificial intelligence technology has placed value alignment in an extremely subtle situation.The revolutionary impact of digital intelligence technology on human society makes technological fix more challenging,compelling humans to conduct pre-emptive examinations of value alignment.In this process,it is important to avoid losing the foundation of effective future AI governance and risk man-agement strategies due to prior misconceptions,which is the value alignment.From the perspective of human-machine(technology)integration,while value alignment is a necessary path for humanity's future,caution should be exercised to avoid falling into the trap of techno-catastrophism when relying on technol-ogy as the baseline for value alignment.Thus,the protection of"what it means to be human"must be the baseline for value alignment.Only if value alignment is based on this principle can it be the only road to future for humanity.
