Clinical diagnosis and treatment of 100 cases of acute appendicitis in General surgery Department
Objective To investigate the diagnosis and treatment of acute appendicitis in general surgery and its clinical effect. Methods A total of 100 cases were selected from January 2020 to April 2022, all of which were diagnosed as acute appendicitis. The grouping method was double-blind. All cases were divided into group A and Group B, with 50 cases in each group. All subjects underwent physical examination, medical history collection, blood routine, B-ultrasound and other examinations. Group A was treated with open surgery, group B was treated with laparoscopic surgery. The diagnosis of the patients was observed, and the surgical indicators, efficacy, complication rate and quality of life (QOL) of the two groups were compared to evaluate the effect. Results Of the 100 patients in this group, 83 cases were detected at first diagnosis, the accuracy was 83.00%, and the other 17 cases were confirmed by intraoperative exploration. The operation time, exhaust time, hospital stay and blood loss of the two groups were all lower in group B than in group A, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The total effective rate in group B (96.00%) was higher than that in group A (80.00%), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in group B (6.00%) was lower than that in group A (20.00%), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The QOL score of group B was higher than that of group A, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The accuracy of initial diagnosis and treatment of acute appendicitis in general surgery is high, the effect of laparoscopic surgery is exact, can reduce complications and intraoperative bleeding, and can promote postoperative recovery, which is conducive to improving the quality of life.
