Objective To observe the clinical effect of color ultrasound in the diagnosis of acute ureteral calculi with perirenal effusion. Methods Forty-three patients with acute ureteral calculi accompanied by perirenal effusion admitted to our hospital from August 2020 to October 2021 were selected as the observation group, and 43 patients with non-perirenal effusion during the same period were selected as the control group. Color ultrasound examination was performed to analyze the examination results. Results In the observation group, the calculi in the upper segment were 41.86%, the calculi in the middle segment were 30.23%, and the calculi in the lower segment were 27.91%. The calculi size was (7.95±2.08) mm, and the difference was not statistically significant compared with the control group (P>0.05). The degree of perirenal effusion in the observation group was (7.84±1.83) mm, and the VAS score was (7.12±1.27), the difference was statistically significant compared with the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Color ultrasound diagnosis in patients with acute ureteral calculi accompanied by perirenal effusion can effectively understand the degree of perirenal effusion and provide basis for treatment and improve prognosis.
