Objective To analyze the effect of rapid paraffin section technology on the quality of sections and the accuracy of production in pathological examination. Methods 80 patients who received surgical treatment and pathological diagnosis in our hospital from January to December 2021 were enrolled in the study. According to the different pathological section techniques adopted, they were divided into the traditional group (n=40, the routine section technique was used for the preparation) and the research group (n=40, the rapid paraffin section technique was used for the preparation). The preparation time, quality and diagnostic accuracy of the two groups of patients were observed and recorded, and a comparative analysis was made between the two groups. The time of wax immersion, transparent dehydration and fixation of the two groups of patients were compared. Results Compared with the time of making sections, soaking wax, transparent dehydration and fixation, the study group was significantly shorter, and there were significant statistical differences between the groups (P<0.05). Compared with the two groups, the rate of high-quality sections in the study group was significantly higher, and there was a statistical difference between the groups (P<0.05); The rate of waste tablets in the study group was significantly lower than that in the traditional group, and there was significant statistical difference between the groups (P<0.05). The diagnostic accuracy of the two groups was significantly higher in the study group (97.50%>80.00%), and there was significant statistical difference between the groups (P<0.05). Conclusion In the process of pathological examination, the rapid paraffin section technique can effectively shorten the time of making sections, soaking wax, fixing time and dehydration time, improve the quality of sections and the accuracy of diagnosis, and has high clinical application value.
