Objective To investigate the clinical effect of colonic polypectomy with cold snare in primary hospitals. Methods A total of 343 patients who received colonoscopic treatment for colon polyps (2 mm≤diameter of polyps<10 mm) in the Central Health Center of Chapu Town, Pinghu City from January 2021 to December 2021 were selected as the research objects, and were randomly divided into observation group (166 patients receiving cold snare resection) and control group (177 patients receiving biopsy clamp removal). The complete resection rate and complication rate of polyp treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The complete specimen removal rate, pathological grade of polyp and treatment rate of right half colon in control group were higher than those in control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative complications between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion The use of cold snare in colorectal polypectomy in primary hospitals is effective, convenient and safe.
