Objective To observe the changes of sleep quality and quality of life of elderly patients in cardiovascular department through comfort nursing. Methods A total of 60 elderly cardiovascular patients admitted to our hospital from May 2019 to February 2021 were selected as research objects and randomly divided into observation group and control group. There were 30 cases each. Control group and observation group received routine nursing and comfort nursing intervention, respectively. Sleep quality and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results After nursing, the sleep quality score of observation group was significantly lower than control group, the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). The quality of life index scores of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). Conclusion Comfort nursing can improve the sleep quality and life quality of elderly patients in the treatment of cardiovascular medicine.
