Objective To study and analyze the clinical application value of digital mammography technology, so as to help medical staff improve follow-up work and constantly improve the level of medical services. Methods From January 2021 to July 2022, 90 patients undergoing breast examination were studied. In this experiment, the researchers respectively used conventional mammography and digital mammography to complete the breast examination task of 90 patients selected, with pathological examination results as the gold standard. The results of conventional mammography and digital mammography were recorded, and the accuracy rate, nail film rate and waste film rate of the two methods were compared and analyzed. Results Pathological examination results showed that 83 of the 90 patients in this experiment were suffering from breast diseases, the incidence of breast diseases was 92.22%, among which 3 cases were fibroadenoma, 6 cases were breast cancer and 74 cases were hyperplasia of breast, accounting for 3.33%, 6.67% and 82.22%, respectively. In the conventional mammography examination, 65 cases of breast diseases were detected, the accuracy rate was 72.22%; in the digital mammography examination results, 75 cases of breast diseases were detected, the accuracy rate was 83.33%, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The number of nail plates examined by conventional mammography and digital mammography was 53 and 74, respectively, and the nail plate rates were 58.89% and 82.22%, respectively, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). In conventional mammography and digital mammography, the percentage of waste radiographs was 22 and 0, accounting for 24.44% and 0.00%, respectively, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Digital mammography has high application value in the diagnosis of breast diseases, and its application effect is far superior to conventional molybdenum target photography, which can improve the diagnostic accuracy to a certain extent.
