Objective To compare the effective path of emergency and critical skills training for medical students guided by "post competence", and to provide theoretical basis for clinical practice. Methods A total of 70 acute and critical care teaching students were selected from March 2021 to July 2021. They were divided into control group (35 cases) and research group (35 cases). The control group received routine teaching and the research group received "post competency" oriented training. Results For the theoretical and practical scores, the study group was higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The score of learning interest, memorization ability, knowledge understanding and analysis ability of the research group were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The score of physical and mental state of the research group after teaching was better than that of the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). For satisfaction, the study group was higher, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The satisfaction of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The "post competency" oriented training method can effectively improve students'' academic performance, cultivate their comprehensive ability, improve their physical and mental state, and obtain satisfactory evaluation from students. The application effect is remarkable.
