Objective To understand the ability of mobile nurses to respond to public health emergencies and its influencing factors in the post-epidemic era. Methods From August 1, 2022 to August 31, 2022, a questionnaire survey was conducted among on-the-job mobile nurses, including general information survey, public health emergency rescue knowledge, attitude and behavior survey, health care workers'' resilience survey and nurses'' emergency response ability survey, and the influencing factors were systematically analyzed. Results The effective recovery rate of the questionnaire was 96.92％. Whether they participated in the rescue work of public health emergencies, whether they participated in the rescue and emergency drill of public health emergencies, the scores of the investigation on the attitude of knowledge, belief and practice of public health emergencies and the scores of the stress resistance assessment of medical staff are the main factors influencing the emergency response ability of mobile nurses in prefectural and municipal general hospitals. Conclusion The emergency response ability of mobile nurses in prefecty-level general hospitals tends to be above the average level. The mobile nurses who have experience in rescue work of public health emergencies and emergency rescue drills have higher emergency response ability.
