Objective To analyze the clinical effect of acupuncture and moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine ironing on mixed cervical spondylosis. Methods This study was a randomized controlled study, and a total of 90 samples were included, all of which were patients with mixed cervical spondylosis treated in our hospital from January 2019 to December 2021. According to random number table method, 90 patients with mixed cervical spondylosis were divided into control group and observation group, 45 cases in each group. The control group received acupuncture treatment, and the observation group received acupuncture and moxibustion combined with Chinese medicine ironing treatment. The visual analogue scale (VAS) score, neck disability index (NDI) score and clinical efficacy of the two groups were compared before treatment and 7, 14 and 21 days after treatment, respectively. Results Compared with before treatment, VAS score and NDI score of 2 groups were significantly lower at 7 d, 14 d and 21 d after treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The curative effect of observation group was better than control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Acupuncture and moxibustion combined with Chinese medicine ironing in the treatment of mixed cervical spondylosis has significant clinical effects, can effectively relieve the pain of patients, relieve cervical spine dysfunction, and is conducive to the recovery of patients.
