Objective To explore the effect of comprehensive senile assessment on patients with COPD. Methods Fifty patients with COPD admitted to our hospital from September 2021 to November 2022 were divided into two groups by random number grouping. Patients receiving routine care were defined as the reference group, and patients receiving comprehensive assessment of the elderly were defined as the experimental group. 25 patients were included in both groups. The health status, quality of life and lung function indexes of the two groups were comprehensively analyzed. Results The scores related to symptoms, activity ability and influence on daily life of experimental group were lower than that of the reference group, the scores of various quality of life were significantly higher than that of the reference group, FEV1, FVC and FEV1/FVC were significantly higher than that of the reference group, and the satisfaction of nursing was significantly better than that of the reference group, P<0.05, the numerical difference between groups was statistically significant. Conclusion The application of comprehensive assessment of COPD can improve the quality of nursing care, improve the lung function of patients, improve their quality of life, promote prognosis and rehabilitation, and enhance nursing satisfaction.
