Objective To explore the role of diet nursing in patients with hypertension. Methods 50 patients admitted to our hospital from September 2020 to August 2021 were selected as research objects and divided into control group and observation group, with 25 cases in each group. The observation group received diet nursing and the control group received routine intervention. The nursing satisfaction, blood pressure change, complication rate and quality of life of the two groups were compared. Results The clinical satisfaction of observation group was higher than control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in observation group was lower than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The change of blood pressure in the observation group was better than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Before intervention, there was no significant difference in quality of life scores between the two groups (P>0.05). After intervention, the life quality score of the observation group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion In the treatment of hypertension, the effective implementation of diet nursing can not only strengthen the effective control of blood pressure, but also reduce the occurrence of adverse events and optimize the diet structure of patients.
