Combined determination of fibrinogen and D-dimer in elderly patients with hip fracture
Objective To explore the significance of combined detection of plasma Fibrinogen (Fg) and D-dimer (DD) in elderly patients with hip fracture. Methods 155 elderly patients with hip fracture in our hospital were selected and divided into two groups according to the occurrence of DVT after fracture, that is, the group without DVT after fracture and the group with DVT after fracture. Plasma fibrinogen (Fg) and D-dimer (DD) were detected before and 24 h after fracture, and compared with the healthy control group. Results The group without DVT after fracture surgery and the group with DVT after fracture surgery, the preoperative plasma Fg and DD values were higher than those of healthy control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Compared with the preoperative group 24 h after fracture, plasma Fg and DD in DVT group were significantly higher, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The plasma Fg and DD values in the group without DVT after fracture surgery were lower than those in the group with DVT after fracture surgery, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The plasma Fg and DD values of DVT group were slightly higher than those of DVT group before and after fracture surgery, with no statistical significance (P>0.05). Conclusion The combined detection of plasma Fg and DD has important early diagnostic value for predicting and evaluating the occurrence and development of deep vein embolism.
