Objective To analyze the effect of nursing communication skills on the quality and satisfaction of patients in emergency care. Methods 80 patients treated in the emergency department of our hospital were selected as research objects for analysis. The research objects were selected from June 2019 to June 2021. The diagnosis and treatment data of all patients were completely preserved and grouped by digital double-blind method. After the study, the two groups were compared in terms of nursing satisfaction, emergency quality, emotional state and nurse-patient disputes. Results The nursing satisfaction of the experimental group was 97.50%, significantly higher than that of the reference group (85.00%), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The quality scores of emergency care in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the reference group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). HAMD and HAMA scores of the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of nurse-patient disputes in the experimental group was 5.00%, which was significantly lower than that in the reference group (20.00%), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The implementation of emergency nursing communication skills has an ideal effect on emergency patients, which can effectively improve patients'' adverse emotional state, promote nursing satisfaction and emergency quality, and reduce nurse-patient disputes.
