Analysis of nursing methods for improving self-management ability and blood pressure level of elderly hypertensive patients
Objective To analyze the value of different nursing interventions to improve self-management ability and blood pressure level of elderly patients with hypertension. Methods 200 elderly patients with hypertension were selected as samples from January 2020 to December 2021. The samples were divided into 100 samples in each group according to the random sampling method under the principle of random and reasonable. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received holistic nursing intervention. Selfmanagement ability, blood pressure level, emotional state and doctor''s advice behavior were compared between the two groups. Results The self-management ability of observation group was higher than that of control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The diastolic blood pressure and systolic blood pressure in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The depression and anxiety scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The scores of medication, diet and exercise compliance in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The development of holistic nursing intervention can improve the self-management ability and blood pressure level of elderly patients with hypertension, and guide patients to maintain a positive and optimistic emotional state in life, avoid the influence of diet, mood, exercise, etc., on the disease control effect, this measure is more valuable in clinical application compared with conventional nursing.
