从概率论的角度探讨单项选择对学习评价的影响

本文以选择题为切入点,讨论了通过高频率的机考来贯彻过程性学习评价的可能性.选择题的题型特点决定了它很适合作为机考的题目,便于机器判卷,大大提高了教学效率.但是与此同时,选择题相比填空题和简答题更容易发生猜对和作弊的现象.本文建立了两个数学模型,用概率论的方法验证了,只要设置合适的难度系数,就可以很大程度降低学生单纯靠猜测做对题目的概率.然而,考题的技术性设计仍无法避免抄袭带来的对学习评价的影响,加强考试监管,尤其是培养学生的诚信意识还是十分必要的.
Impact of Multiple-choice Questions on Learning Evaluation from Probability Theory Perspective
This paper discusses the possibility of implementing process learning evaluation through high-frequency computer-based testing based on multiple-choice questions.The characteristics of multiple-choice questions make them well-suited for computer-based testing,which facilitates machine grading and significantly improves teaching efficiency.However,compared to fill-in-the-blank and short-answer questions,multiple-choice questions are more susceptible to guessing and cheating.This article establishes two mathematical models and verifies them through probability theory that,as long as appropriate difficulty levels are set,it is possible to significantly reduce the probability of students guessing the right answers to questions purely by chance.However,the technical design of the testing questions still cannot avoid the impact of plagiarism on the learning evaluation,and it is necessary to strengthen the supervision of the examination,especially to cultivate students'sense of integrity.
