In August 2020,the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council has issued the"Notice on Accelerating the Digital Transformation of State-Owned Enterprises",which clearly states that it is necessary to accelerate the digitalization of industries.The core of digital transformation is data,and how to perform well in data governance and mine the value of data has become the key for the digital transformation of various types of enterprises.Starting from the background of enterprise data governance,this paper discusses the difference and connection between data governance and data management,the methods and steps of enterprise on data governance,and the role of data governance,so as to provide reference for data governance practitioners.
