With the rapid development of science and technology,digital television technology has become an important part of cable television network,and has promoted the innovation and upgrading of the radio and television industry.This paper first briefly introduces the basic concepts of digital television technology and its application background in cable television network,and then analyzes in detail the transmission principles and key technologies of digital television technology as well as specific application cases in cable television network,including signal encoding and decoding,modulation and demodulation,multiplexing and demultiplexing.
