Landslide Mechanism and Stability Evaluation——Example of Dayu Town Gujingkou Village at Reservoir Area
Based on the detailed description of the landslide formation mechanism in Dayu Town Gujingkou Village, the stability of the landslide is evaluated under different working conditions. The results show that, when the reservoir water level drops, the water pressure at the front edge of the slope decreases, the landslide body produces unloading rebound and upward vertical deformation, and the landslide simultaneously produces horizontal deformation directing out of the slope. The stability coefficient of the landslide decreases rapidly due to the drop of reservoir water level, and then increases rapidly and gradually tends to stabilize with the seepage process. The steep drop of the reservoir water level is extremely unfavorable to the stability of the landslide. This provides an important basis for the prevention and control of the landslide.
