Cost management is an important management content of highway engineering,which runs through the whole process of highway engineering construction,and involves many stages such as project decision-making,design,construction and completion.By implementing the whole-process cost management strategy,the cost expenditure of highway engineering can be effectively controlled,and the investment benefit of the project can be guaranteed.The continuous development of information technology provides a new idea for the whole-process cost management of highway engineering,and it has become an important topic to implement the whole-process cost management of informatization by using information technology.On the basis of expounding the connotation of informatization of whole-process cost management,this paper analyzes the necessity of informatization of whole-process cost management,and probes into the specific construction path,aiming at promoting the in-depth application of informatization technology in the whole-process cost management of highway engineering and improving the level and efficiency of cost management.
