GIS surveying and mapping technology plays a vital role in land surveying engineering.Through the application of GIS surveying and mapping technology,such as geographic information system technology,digital mapping technology and GPS positioning system,the data management,data collection and data processing can be completed to achieve the expected land surveying engineering goals.Based on this condition and combined with the actual condition,this paper first briefly analyzes the relevant contents of GIS surveying and mapping technology in land surveying engineering,then expounds the application status of GIS surveying and mapping technology in land surveying engineering,and finally puts forward the application measures of GIS surveying and mapping technology in land surveying engineering,for reference.
