Comprehensive Experimental Design for Preparation of Superhydrophobic Coatings on Carbon Steel Surfaces
Based on the research achievements of teachers,a comprehensive experiment is designed to prepare superhydrophobic coatings on carbon steel surfaces for undergraduate teaching.Specifically,a nickel coating is prepared on the surface of carbon steel by electrodeposition,and then modified with low surface energy substances to prepare a surface with superhydrophobic properties,and its corrosion resistance is studied.This experimental method is simple and comprehensive.Through experiments,students can further understand the construction principles,preparation methods,performance characterization,and application prospects of superhydrophobic surfaces.Experiments can effectively improve students'practical ability and cultivate their innovative ability and scientific literacy.
