Analysis of Root Cause and Improvement Measure of Steam Turbine Overspeed Accident in Thermal Power Plant
Steam turbine overspeed accidents in thermal power plants are a serious operational risk,which may lead to equipment damage and safety problems.This paper analyzes the root causes of overspeed accidents,including overload operation,speed control system failure,oil system problems,and improper process control;and proposes improvement measures to reduce the risk of accidents,such as regular maintenance and inspection,process control optimization,automation control system upgrade,and emergency response plan formulation.These measures help to improve the safety and reliability of steam turbines in thermal power plants and ensure the stable operation of electric power production.
