Water conservancy information technology refers to the use of modern communication technology,computer network and other resources to provide corresponding guarantee for China's flood control and drought relief work,effectively monitor the national water situation,drought situation and dangerous situation,so as to assist the country's flood prevention and disaster relief work,and make correct decisions.This paper analyzes the important role of water conservancy informatization construction in flood control and drought relief and its related applications,and puts forward targeted research countermeasures for the reference of relevant researchers.
