Analysis of Meteorological Monitoring and Early Warning Index of an Urban Waterlogging Process——Example of Chengdu Shuangliu Airport
This paper uses automatic weather station data,sounding data,wind profile radar data and dual-polarization weather radar data to analyze a typical urban waterlogging caused by local short-time heavy rainfall in Chengdu Shuangliu District on August 2,2022.The results show that:this process occurred under the circulation background of the West Pacific subtropical high strengthening westward,and the energy and water vapor conditions were favorable for the occurrence of strong convection.The Xinjin wind profile radar observed wind shear disturbance,and the wind field structure was conducive to the transport of water vapor and energy.The Chengdu dual-polarization weather radar observed that maximum radar reflectivity and radar differential propagation phase shift rate were both large.These monitoring indexes can be applied for a timely early warning.
