In the process of installation and construction of XLPE cable accessories,the cable joint needs to be connected with other accessories.During the on-site construction,the cable insulation treatment is often not in place,resulting in poor connection between cable joint and other accessories,and affecting the service life of the cable.Therefore,it is necessary to perform cable insulation treatment before on-site construction.This paper mainly analyzes the cable insulation treatment process during the construction of high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage XLPE cable accessories.Through the analysis of the cable insulation treatment process in the construction of high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage XLPE cable accessories,the on-site construction experience is summarized,which can provide a certain reference for on-site construction.
