With the continuous development of social economy,the scale of cities in China is gradually expanding,and the traditional urban management mode is difficult to adapt to the practical needs of modern urban management in the new era.At present,the application of big data and cloud computing technology is increasingly extensive,which plays a positive role in promoting the construction of smart cities in China,helps to reshape the urban management mode,promotes the continuous improvement of urban management quality and efficiency,and provides convenient and high-quality public services for residents.This paper first analyzes the construction foundation of new smart cities,and then explains and discusses the application of big data and cloud computing technology in the construction of smart cities from different aspects.
