Probe into Ways to Improve Information Literacy Education of University and College Students of Medicine and Health
In the context of the rapid growth of information,global dissemination of information,and intelligent processing of information,the overall importance placed on the effective cultivation of information literacy by all sectors of society is increasing.As the main reserve force for the development of medical and health industry in China,whether contemporary medical students can quickly capture,effectively judge and analyze their required information in a rapidly changing environment,and whether they have the corresponding information innovation ability,is the central theme and important task of contemporary medical and health higher education teaching.This article investigates the information literacy education practices in libraries of six medical and health universities in Liaoning Province through online research,telephone calls,and on-site consultations.The research results are statistically analyzed to analyze the current situation and characteristics of information literacy education in libraries of medical and health universities in Liaoning Province.This article explores the path of information literacy education in medical and health university libraries,providing reference for improving the information literacy of medical and health university students.
