In the information age,opportunities and challenges coexist,difficulties and hopes also coexist for the archives management in colleges and universities.This paper investigates the current situation and analyzes the existing problems from four aspects:information technology application,archives management system,archives culture construction,and archives talent team,and puts forward measures such as building a perfect archives management system,using information technology to strengthen the construction of archives culture,forming an information technology compound archives talent team,and applying information technology to create a characteristic management model,so as to further improve the level of archives management in colleges and universities through the means of information technology.
