With the continuous development of intelligent transportation system,the highway toll lane system is facing unprecedented technological innovation.Edge computing technology,as an emerging computing model,has brought new possibilities to highway toll collection systems due to its advantages in data processing and real-time response.The purpose of this paper is to explore the application of edge computing technology in highway toll lane system,and analyze its potential and prospect in improving system efficiency,reducing operating costs,and enhancing user experience.
