Actively promoting the application of GPS surveying and mapping technology in surveying and mapping engineering is conducive to the improvement of efficiency and quality of surveying and mapping work.Based on this condition,this paper analyzes the application of GPS surveying and mapping technology in highway engineering and engineering construction surveying and mapping,and discusses the application effect of GPS surveying and mapping technology in virtual reality technology and real-time dynamic positioning technology,hoping to provide reference for the development of surveying and mapping engineering.
