Smart road is smart carrier for the collection and release of urban traffic information with data as the core by using new-generation information technology such as the Internet of Things,big data and artificial intelligence,so as to realize the road service quality,scientific management and efficient operation,and effectively improve the travel experience.Taking Baiyun Lake Avenue,the first"smart road"in Baiyun District of Guangzhou,as an example,this paper reviews and considers the smart road construction process of Baiyun Lake Avenue,and expounds the overall architecture and functional design of smart road construction,aiming to provide experience for the design and construction of smart road in the future.
