With the advent of big data era,the education field is undergoing profound changes.This paper aims to explore the teaching methods in the integration and practice field of junior high school mathematics based on big data.By analyzing the application of big data in mathematics teaching,this paper studies how to use data analysis to optimize teaching content,personalize learning paths and improve learning efficiency;discusses the influence of big data on teachers'teaching methods and how to improve teaching strategies and improve student records through data-driven decision;points out challenges that may be encountered in the implementation of big data-based teaching.
