Cause Analysis and Countermeasure of Power Cable Insulation Damage Accidents
Power cable is an important medium for power transmission and distribution of electric energy in the electric power system,its safe and stable operation is very important for the reliability of the entire power grid.The ground fault of power cable,especially the hidden intermittent electric arc fault and continuous electric arc fault,is not easy to be detected,which may easily cause the reduction of electric energy transmission efficiency,damage to electric power equipment and even serious power supply interruption.Therefore,this paper analyzes the structure and characteristics of each layer of power cables,then discusses the application advantages of paper-based composite materials in power cables,and finally discusses the countermeasures of power cable insulation damage accident in detail,hoping to help relevant practitioners.
