Comparative Analysis of Air Conditioning System Design Scheme for Equipment Management Rooms in Subway Stations
The air conditioning system for equipment management rooms in subway stations typically employs a mode of all-air conditioning system+water chiller unit for operation throughout the day.During nighttime when passenger flow decreases and the subway is not in service, the station's cooling load significantly reduces. This reduction leads to a decrease in the efficiency of the water chiller unit, causing frequent start-stop cycles and increasing maintenance costs. To address this issue,an optimized solution has been proposed:during high-load periods in the daytime, the system uses the all-air conditioning system+water chiller unit, while during low-load periods in the nighttime,it switches to a variable refrigerant flow air conditioning system.A comparative analysis on an actual subway station project in South China demonstrates that this optimized solution offers advantages in reducing energy consumption and lowering operating costs.
