The Discipline Structure,Development Trend,and Research Hotspot Analysis of Ideological and Political Research in Universities:Based on Bibliometric Analysis Using the Citespace Tool
Currently,research in the field of ideological and political studies at universities is deepening,with a multitude of research findings emerging.It is particularly important to timely review and summarize these studies.Citespace is a bibliometric software that uses co-occurrence analysis,cluster analysis,burst analysis,and co-citation analysis to explore the discipline structure,development trends,and research hotspots of the studied knowledge fields.This paper employs the bibliometric software Citespace to conduct a visual analysis of the research content in the ideological and political field at universities.By examining data from both temporal and quantitative dimensions,it outlines the main clustered themes within this field from 1998 to 2022,exploring its development trends and research hotspots.The results show that while the research focuses in the university ideological and political field are prominent,there are many branches,and the collaboration between institutions and authors is not sufficiently close,which hinders communication and sharing.Therefore,further integration of resources is necessary to leverage systemic advantages.
